About "Thick Smoke"
"Thick smoke" takes its inspiration from the musical testament "Blackstar" bequeathed to us by David Bowie.

Thick Smoke is a piece about the genesis of the album "Blackstar", the atmosphere that David Bowie could have experienced when he recruited his last team of musicians while attending these gigs in New York Jazz clubs, with the smell still impregnated with the fragance of the cigarettes.

Thick Smoke is also the thick fog that enveloped us when David Bowie passed away, the feeling of mourning for a person who accompanied us in our genesis as musicians.

Thick Smoke is the twilight light, emanating from a dying star that draws all its energy from the musical creation stronger than the disease, carrying him to its last breath

Finally, Thick Smoke is the spirit of David Bowie, the magic of his musical legacy that vaporizes in this song, his last ethereal, appeased heartbeats that vanish to mark the birth of the bluebird (“Lazarus”).
